Description

Mika Tolvanen on the Visu Chair: “The aim was to create a personal interpretation of the plywood chair. I wanted my chair to have a discreet and timeless character, a familiar, non-boring and comfortable shape, without sacrificing affordability for form. I wanted to design a family of chairs with different functions but a common style. The creative process took two years, but in the end I can say that every detail is exactly as it should be.” Mika Tolvanen is part of the Finnish Rehti Design group. After graduating from the Royal College of Art with a Master's degree in design in 2001, Mika opened his own design studio in Helsinki. Since then, he has worked with some of the world's top designers and manufacturers. Mika Tolvanen's goal is not just to design products, but rather to seek out opportunities that require design and planning. What truly defines an object is how it is used, not its appearance.

Our Archive Sale selection

The Archive Sale collection stems from the desire to give a new life to furnishings and accessories that already have a story to tell. The products that make up this selection come directly from our store displays, photo shoots, discontinued limited editions, or our historical archives.

Precisely because of their nature as display pieces, some items may not come in their original packaging or may show slight signs of their initial use. Our priority remains maximum transparency: if present, any aesthetic details are described within the individual product page.

Each item included in this section is the result of careful curation, designed to offer the opportunity to collect best-sellers and design icons at an exclusive value.

Please note that, as these are special display or discontinued items, returns are not possible for products in this collection.
