Under The Bell is more than just a chandelier. When hung above a table or in an open space, it creates a space beneath itself, within a larger space. Standing beneath it feels like being protected in a small, warm environment. The chandelier brings together the people and things beneath it, both physically and abstractly. The recycled plastic felt absorbs sound, dulling the space and helping improve the room's acoustics.
Iksos-Berlin is a Copenhagen-based design duo that has gained international recognition for its furniture, graphic, and industrial design. The studio, formerly known as Komplot Design, has collaborated with some of the world's most prestigious and renowned companies. Their projects are exhibited in numerous design museums around the world, including MoMA and the Danish Design Museum.
