Designed by Danish designer Jonas Trampedach, the Type Chair's name and aesthetic are derived from the perception of an archetypal chair. Type's distinctively shaped backrest lends a seamless sculptural expression that reinforces the chair's familiarity while maintaining its unique character. Crafted from silicone-coated aluminum, the chair blends craftsmanship with industrial processes to create a smooth, closed surface. Lightweight and stackable, Type's functionality, simplicity, and consistent quality facilitate its integration into a wide range of indoor and outdoor settings.
