When designing the dining chair, made of sustainably sourced wood, Space Copenhagen explored classic, simple, and sculptural motifs. The collection is available in solid oak or beech with a steam-bent backrest in veneer. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests, honoring the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of protecting “Life on Land” (SDG 15) and “Responsible Consumption and Production” (SDG 12) by supporting the "Partnership for the Goals" (SDG 17).
