A refined table light; thanks to its considerable size it can also be used as a floor lamp.
The base is in anodised extruded aluminium, also available in black; on it rests a large translucent glass dome, which can be angled to direct the light, topped by a concave white aluminium disc. The light source is hidden inside the metal support, which is profiled with fins to improve heat dissipation from the bulb. This technical detail gives the lamp the look of a column, and it was precisely this aesthetic touch that made the lamp such a success.
The electronic dimmer on the cable lets you adjust the intensity of the light.
