Playing or relaxing is no problem with Spun by Magis. The design combines the seat, backrest, and frame in a single piece, reminiscent of a spinning top. This original chair was designed by Thomas Heatherwick. Spun's base is a small-diameter circle that gradually widens to create its characteristic profile, with a ring that prevents it from tipping over halfway up. Magis has been manufacturing Spun since 2010. It's made of rotationally molded polyethylene, and thanks to its durable material, it's also suitable for outdoor use.
Magis is a historic Italian company founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza. It presents itself as a large, cutting-edge design and experimentation laboratory, capable of capturing the creativity of international and emerging designers and channeling it into trend-setting objects.
