Launched at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2023, the Pira G2 shelving unit is an evolution of the original design by Swedish architect Olle Pira, created for the H55 exhibition in 1955. Architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström reinvented the shelving unit, preserving the essence of the original design while infusing it with contemporary appeal through the use of modern materials. Inside the wall-mounted unit, the shelves integrate seamlessly with the posts, creating a cohesive structure within the modular system and offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
