Both the base and shade are made of durable polycarbonate with a smooth, glossy finish. The lamp's light source is hidden inside the shade, behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, providing an efficient, diffused downlight with a warm, homey glow. The compact, battery-powered design allows the lamp to be moved around the house or taken into the garden and other outdoor spaces. The lamp is available in several color options.
