The designer decided to hide the chair's joints, giving Oaki a refined, unique, and weightless character that seems perfectly designed. Each leg rises from the floor along the full height of the chair, cradling the backrest between all four. The rear legs angle back from the seat, meeting the floor behind the chair rather than beneath it. The positioning of the legs brings the chair to life as they appear to step back.
