According to Norse mythology Heima is a term meaning 'home' or 'world',

but Heima is also the name adopted by designer Francis Cayouette for his series of cast iron candlesticks, ideal accessories for creating a welcoming atmosphere in your home.

Heima features a distinctive design that pays homage to industrial craftsmanship and Nordic traditions. The essence of Heima is reminiscent of candlelight and the cast iron movement of the 1950s.

Heima is a four-armed candlestick with a minimalist Nordic design, crafted from cast iron. The irregular, almost cold surface gives the candlestick character, while the rounded shapes lend the design a contemporary look.

The result is a minimalist and sculptural element that makes any space elegant and refined, adapting perfectly to both classic and modern furnishings.

This project received important recognition, winning the prestigious 'IF Product Design Award 2010'.
