The Fiber chair was designed to ensure maximum comfort in a small space. The shell is made of an innovative biocomposite material, 25% of which is wood fiber. From a distance, the shell looks like a standard plastic shell, but up close, you can see the tiny wood fibers that compose the material and give the chair a new character.
The body can be positioned on 4 different bases, and is suitable for being placed in different environments, both domestic and public.
Iksos-Berlin is a Copenhagen-based design duo that has gained international recognition for its furniture, graphic, and industrial design. The studio, formerly known as Komplot Design, has collaborated with some of the world's most prestigious and renowned companies. Their projects are exhibited in numerous design museums around the world, including MoMA and the Danish Design Museum.

One of the noblest disciplines is knowing how to design without eccentricity. To create simple and functional objects for everyday life yet with a strong identity. We designed the Fiber Chair with the aim of creating a sculptural chair that doesn't sacrifice comfort. It's a chair stripped of all unnecessary elements, leaving a seat, backrest, and armrest, all integrated into a single, harmonious form. The iconic shape with its soft curves blends perfectly with the biocomposite fiber material, giving the Fiber Chair its characteristic tactile texture.
