Description

Domo is a beautiful collection of lamps designed by Joe Colombo and produced by the Karakter brand.

The Domo lamp was originally designed by Italian designer Joe Colombo in 1965. At that time, he had created three lamps based on the same central shape. Known for his democratic and functional design, his flexible and convertible furniture was designed to be used in a variety of ways, all for the benefit of the user. Joe Colombo experimented with new materials and the latest technologies, designing futuristic machines "for life," many of which became icons of a new way of living. One of them is Domo. Colombo often eschewed sharp angles and straight lines in favor of curved forms.
