Minimalism applied to an object traditionally rich in ornamentation has resulted in a product that embodies three distinct cultures: the Japanese designer Naoko Fukasama, the Italian manufacturer, and the German cuckoo clock maker. The clock runs on 1.5V batteries.

Magis is a historic Italian company founded in 1976 by Eugenio Perazza. It presents itself as a large, cutting-edge design and experimentation laboratory, capable of capturing the creativity of international and emerging designers and channeling it into trend-setting objects.
