Description

Compass is an arc lamp with a conical shade that tilts downwards, made to light a sofa, a table or a workspace without taking up the floor beneath it. The shade tilts, the base turns through 360 degrees and it is switched on with a foot dimmer. Julien Renault kept the structure slim — steel stem and arms, extruded aluminium base — so the arc stays light even at over two metres.
