Ark Armchair

Ark appears almost like a sofa made entirely of cushions, a nod to its soft, welcoming feel. The design appears to be divided into smaller, padded sections. The seat, backrest, and armrests all resemble separate, carefully arranged cushions. This unique composition contributes to Ark's enveloping feel, while the simplicity of the design radiates sophistication and elegance. A recurring design element, Ark takes its name from the Danish word for "arches." The subtle sway of the cushions creates a distinct visual softness that complements the equally plush seating comfort. A slight gap between the seat and the floor lends an airy feel to the design, also offering the practical benefit of easy access for cleaning underneath the sofa.
