The ARBA Lounge Chair is a simple yet refined composition made of two curved plywood elements, a cross-shaped structure made of bent metal profiles, and a die-cast aluminum base. With its formal clarity, the composition communicates directly with the user. The chair has nothing to hide and, at the same time, surprises once seated.
The seat and backrest are perfectly contoured and positioned, while the central spine introduces the dynamism typical of flat sheet metal. The base adds a pleasant swivel function, increasing comfort and versatility.
The chair retains the formal purity of an experimental prototype, despite being a carefully designed and precision-crafted industrial product. It comes flat-packed and can be assembled in just a few simple steps.
