Originally designed by Mario Bellini in 1966 and reissued by HAY, the Amanta sofa embodies the essence of innovative mid-century Italian design: a modular seating solution defined by its sculptural ingenuity.
With modules that work on their own or in groups, its flexible design shows off the designer's multidisciplinary skill. Built with architectural precision from at least 99% recycled ABS, the shell is completed by cushions in 94% biomass-balanced foam that give ergonomic support, with every component designed to be taken apart.
Amanta’s timeless aesthetic and its ability to adapt to interiors make it a versatile choice for a wide range of domestic and public settings.
Available in a range of shell colours and with a variety of fabric and leather upholstery options, as a single module or in preconfigured versions of 2, 3 or 4 modules.
