Tom Dixon
Tom Dixon, designer and founder of the company named after him, began his career producing furniture complements and lighting solutions and went on to specialize in interior decoration and events organization. In the field of lighting design, he creates eccentric collection as the Melt, Etch, Mirror Ball and Beat including suspension and pendant lights, the absolute protagonists of the space. He became famous for the 2006 "Great Chair Grab" exhibition in Trafalgar Square and the "Great light give-away " in the following year. The use of the innovative process of vacuum metallizing, together with the innovative production processes involving polycarbonate, chromium and copper, make his collections with an elegant and unique style.
