The chair has armrests and if you add a nice cushion or some pillows, the look will not be so raw, and the chair will also be more comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time. You can use the lounge chair both outside and inside, depending on where you need a lounge chair. You must be aware that the chair can become warm if it is left in direct sunlight for a long time - therefore it would be good to have a cushion or some pillows in the chair.
