LAN Rug

In its simple yet eclectic combination of minimalist patterns, hand-embroidered on a base of Glaoui fabric, lies the great appeal of this rug and the other elements that make up the Lan collection. Its dominant indigo color palette is where the series takes its name.

GAN has worked with many different international designers throughout the years, always aiming at combining modern design with traditional craftsmanship. That is how LAN was developed, from a rich exchange of materials and ideas between Neri&Hu and GAN.

Neri&Hu, the multidisciplinary studio founded by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu have created a collection that reflects their personality, merging oriental and western elements, very much in line with GAN‘s philosophy.

The idea is to unite craftsmanship with the flexibility of modern life, and to inspire a notion of community that is transversal and versatile: LAN is equally at home both in residential spaces and in public spaces, such as hotels or offices.
