The same design principles have been applied to the entire 822 seating collection.
This seating collection was created in partnership with the Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, drawng inspiration from Josef Hoffmann's 1930 design of the modernist model A811 but reinterpreting the design in the direction of contemporary Scandinavian minimalism. This version, made of beech wood, has proportions which work perfectly with the natural forms created by manual wood-bending technology and is made unique thanks to the graphic dot perforations in the seat and backrest.
