Description

The Tense Wall Lamp, part of the Tense series designed by Panter & Tourron for New Works, explores the theme of material tension to create light and dynamic volumes. The lampshade, ethereal and fluid like a cloud, diffuses light softly, creating a sculptural presence that can seamlessly integrate into a wide variety of architectural contexts.
The diffuser's surface is made of Tyvek , a richly textured material that combines a fabric-like softness with a look reminiscent of crumpled paper. This material adds a tactile dimension to the lamp, while also ensuring durability, class 1 fire retardancy , and 100% recyclability . When the lamp is turned on, the Tyvek's crinkled texture is enhanced by a delicate play of light and shadow.
The Tense Wall Lamp features an integrated LED light source and a discreet pin switch located at the base .
