The floor lamp is a continuation of the pendant lamp presented during their very first exhibition, held at Valerie Traan, the gallery of Valerie Objects’ artistic director Veerle Wenes. These lamps originate from the same concept, namely the materialization of simple, colorful drawings in inner space. Similar to the pendant lamp, this floor lamp consists of virtually nothing more than one fluid, curved line with a lightbulb attached to the end of it. Since this object has to stand on the ground, two small lines have been added, which become the legs of the lamp. On the one hand the basic design does not draw too much attention, on the other hand its playful character pinches the eyes.
