Descrizione

When it was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1967, the chair was so popular that many visitors left the stand taking the display models with them. As a consequence of this rather unorthodox compliment, the chairs were chained to the stand. Thanks to Plia and his study on the "three-disc pivot", thus revolutionizing the concept of the folding chair, Giancarlo Piretti entered history with the nickname "Thonet of the 20th century." Available in different colors, from the steel frame to its seat and backrest, it even boasts a version in Vienna straw stretched on a solid wood frame, capable of further enriching an icon of all-Italian style.
