Product The Pap Bookcase is a modular shelving system born from extensive research into materials and functional clarity. Designed by Tetsu Schokking, the structure stands out for its innovative use of panels made entirely from discarded food cartons (such as those from milk and juice), roughly shredded to leave visible fragments of the original packaging. The different plastic layers of the cartons are fused, acting as a natural adhesive, without the addition of chemical substances. The result is a warm, tactile, and expressive material, where each panel is unique and features natural variations in color and pattern. The shelves are freely height-adjustable to ensure maximum flexibility, while metal tubes stabilize the structure, combining a minimal aesthetic with a strongly sustainable approach.
The "Extension" modules are specifically designed to expand in width by being placed alongside the main structure, allowing for the creation of custom and flexible compositions depending on the space.
