Pao Steel Pendant

The Pao lamp collection is an exciting collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the soft, luminous form of traditional Mongolian Pao tents illuminated at night, Fukasawa chose to encapsulate the same atmospheric warmth and friendliness in the Pao steel pendant lamp. Pao draws on Fukasawa's aesthetic of beautifully simple design, creating an everyday object that draws on the design values found in the natural world. Thanks to advances in LED bulb technology, the light source can be hidden from view within the lampshade, which is enclosed with a high-quality acrylic (PMMA) diffuser, achieving a clean, simple design without visual intrusion. The pendant lampshades are crafted from steel with a polished finish and are available in a variety of sizes and colors. Their functionality and deliberate simplicity of design make them suitable for a wide range of spaces and uses in both domestic and commercial settings.
