Description

Initially introduced in 1938, Little Petra immediately garnered praise at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition, later winning awards at shows in New York and Berlin. It is one of the few designs by architect Viggo Boesen, who is associated with the distinctive Danish design aesthetic of the 1930s known as the Funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly petite, able to adapt to all types of spaces, interiors, and environments. Low to the floor, open, and enveloping, it embodies the essence of a lounge chair, allowing for all types of seating positions in any cozy setting imaginable.
