The animal subjects of the “Serie della Natura” come out of the iconographic research Mari developed in the early 1960s to define the characters of the Gioco delle Favole. Each subject was given a long study in order to reach an emblematic result that makes an alphabet of established signs legible. The programme of reissuing prints of Enzo Mari’s iconic subjects therefore continues with three subjects drawn from this project, already produced as independent prints as well.
